Today my friend, let me introduce you the new Rasoi by Vineet concept of the Mandarin Oriental Geneva.

The gastronomical cuisine of the fanciest Indian restaurant of the city now gives way to a « sharing with friends » concept, more convivial, that includes portions that can be shared with the persons at your table.

I have to mention that I was invited by Audrey Jung from the Mandarin Oriental Geneva, and by the team of Pr&Co to discover the new concept of Rasoi by Vineet during an exceptional lunch, where I was accompanied by my new « blog partner » Vanessa.

Many thanks to them, to the Chef and his staff and to those of the Rasoi by Vineet for their welcome and their amability.

I tried, as much as possible, to be objective in the following article. My aim is mostly to share my nice culinary experiences, and make you dream a bit too. My opinion is of course, personal, but I want to believe that it interests you.

Inspired by the Indian food sharing tradition, the new concept of Rasoi let the guests compose their meal together by varying flavors and textures through the mixture of Indian spices. This rich and more traditional experience focuses on the « sharing » around a same table.

The Rasoi reinvents its codes by offering an original meal and representative creations of the modern « Vineet Bhatia cuisine », real star of the international Indian gastronomy.

The menu includes specialties, such as the colorful king kachori chaat, gujiyas with goat cheese and cashew nuts, biryani dum parda with lamb, precious 24-carat black fowl or original tamarind beef and spinach upma, and for seafood lovers : the rasam seabream in banana leaf or also the savory Sea-Bass with black spices and crayfish moilee.

In the kitchen it’s the chef Prabu Kalyanasundram, trained by Vineet Bhatia, who supervises the operations to provide a high quality Indian experience to customers.
